The NASAIPAC Extragalactic Database NED provides a multi-wavelength fusion of data for millions of objects outside the Milky Way galaxy. The astrophysical objects covered in NED include galaxies quasars and other active galactic nuclei AGNs gravitational lenses absorption line systemscomponents of galaxies such as supernovae HII regions star clusters and variable stars as well as unclassified sources from sky surveys at radio sub-millimeter infrared visual ultraviolet X-ray and gamma ray frequencies.
