The Gallery Meyer Kainer opened in 1999 their new two floor space in Palais Eschenbach in the 1st district in Vienna. The gallery is located near the Secession the Academy of fine Arts the Kunsthistorische Museum and the new Museum of Contemporary Art MuMok at Musumsquartier. The opening exhibition was with the Austrian artists Franz West and Heimo Zobernig.The gallery is also representing the artistgroup gelitin Marcin Maciejowski Mathias Poledna and Martina Steckholzer who are shown in the context of a highlevel international exhibitionprogram which features artists like Dan Graham and Mary Heilmann as well as a younger generation like Liam Gillick and Raymond Pettibon.
