The LEAF project Linking and Exploring Authority Files is developing a model architecture for a search system harvesting existing Name Authority Information. Search results will form a Central Name Authority File CNAF which is thus strictly based on user needs. The project results will be implemented in the existing MALVINE network that provides information about modern manuscripts and letters. The model architecture will be applicable to other kinds of culturalscientific objects and data ensuring through the use of Authority File Information that the representation of the objects in question is one of high quality
