This Amazing Half Marathon Route has so much to offer The 2009 Historic Half Marathon starts in front of the Fort Langley Community Hall-which was constructed in 1931-continues through beautiful rural streets past majestic views of the mountains and into the Mountain View ConservationCentre. It follows the historic Telegraphic Trail winds its way through quiet streets in Walnut Grove and begins the finishing kilometers with a strong downhill and heads to the most prestigious finish line location in British Columbia inside the gates of the Fort Langley's National Historic Site of Canada. Finishers will be surrounded by great food music Historical Educational Buildings and a roaring campfire to warm up around. All event distances are walker and runner-friendly with flexible start time options to allow plenty of time for a welcoming finish.
