GL History Created in 2000 by Jason "Stix" Buckley to combine Gamer's Alliance website forums into one portal including the popular Dreamcast.net GamersLounge.com was the first evolution of myspace.com creating onelarge community for social interaction specifically for the gaming community. When eUniverse the company GL was created under decided to fold the gaming network mid-2001 GL went "lights out." Later eUniverse transferred the rights to GL's name not the database to the creator Jason "Stix" Buckley and to this day GL exists as one of the longer standing discussion forums and interactive social communities for video gamers. UPDATED MARCH 2012 Over the years forums gave way to social media.
