FamiCare is a Non-profit Organization 501c3 governed by a 7-member Board of Directors and supported by third party payors. FamiCare Inc. was established in New Jersey in 1996 with the mission to preserve the families in New Jersey. The Agency has a solid reputation in various communities in New Jersey and has networked with school systems courts different government agencies hospitals and health care communities. The Agency addresses its mission through parent support youth support education and counseling. FamiCare is contracted with the Division of Youth and Family Services DYFS to provide the following services Counseling Advocacy Interpretation Case Management Parenting Education Therapy Psychological and Psychiatric Evaluation Transportation and Supervised Visitation. FamiCare currently serves approximately 100 families at any given time throughout New Jersey. About 65% of these families face abuseneglect issues
