Camp Forktail Creek was created in 2000 to be a place where we and our guests could be one with the Indian jungle. It is located in the midst of a dense Sal forest by the edge of Bhakrakot village on the north-eastern periphery of Corbett Tiger Reserve India. Being sensitive to our surrounding we have done little to change the landscape around us instead efforts have been made to regenerate forest trees within our land maintain our 'no-electricity' status and have a basic simple yet elegant home for our guests with us being able to impart as much knowledge of our region as possible and to make people understand discover and respect the jungle and be comfortable with it. The end result to our joy has been rewarding- birds and animals are our frequent visitors showing and sharing their little world with those in Camp
