For experienced Lepidoptera the order of insects that include butterflies and moths enthusiasts we offer hard-to-find species and carry many butterfly and moth rearing accessories at reasonable prices. For the gardener who wishes to attract more butterflies to their yard and to boost the local butterfly populations we have butterfly host plants available. Many of these host plants are considered weeds and cannot be found at a traditional plant nursery. We also give away free butterfly plant seeds look in our plant section to choose your free packets. For teachers and families sharing the butterfly life cycle with children we have kits and teaching tools available. Our kits come in a variety of sizes from a small kit for the coffee table to a large kit that can be used in classrooms. If you dont see the kit you are looking for try our Create Your Own Kit and if that still doesnt quite cover what you need just give us a call! We wish to help each customer have the best kit to fit their needs. As a gift our kits are unique and fun. Childrens interest will be kept for weeks as they watch the metamorphosis of a caterpillar changing into a butterfly. Kits are not just for children however they are also a great gift for nature enthusiasts. It is easy to miss parts of a butterflys metamorphosis in the garden but a kit keeps every stage visible and easily seen. We sell butterflies in all stages of their life cycle egg larva caterpillar pupa chrysalis and adult butterfly. In addition we also sell moths in egg larva caterpillar and pupa cocoon stages.
