What it does

Xenoma Inc. is a spin-off company from Someya Group Organic Transistor Lab in the University of T[okyo and JST/ERATO Someya Bio-Harmonized Electronics Project. Professor Takao Someya has been dealing with Organic Electronics since 2003. His ultrathin and ultraflexible device harmoniously interfaces with human bodies by taking advantage of the inherent softness of organic materials. Xenoma is aiming at realizing e-skin, which is a next-generation textile-based wearable electronics as an ideal interface between human and device. The e-skin clothes are comfortable to wear, durable enough to go through more than 10,000 stretches at a 50% strain rate, and can handle more than 100 wash cycles based on ISO 6330 3N-A standards. Some of the direct applications can be tracking user motions, tracking cardiovascular health, and monitoring the health and well being of the elderly.
