What it does

LIMEX is a revolutionary new material made from limestone, a natural resource abundant around the world. It is the unique material developed and patented by TBM, a Japanese venture company. TBM, a parent company of Times Bridge Management, is the only producer of LIMEX, a limestone-based material made with no water and no trees, which can be used as alternatives of paper and plastic. LIMEX can be manufactured to be similar to paper products. The product is manufactured from a mixture of calcium carbonate and thermoplastic resin, extruded into a sheet-like form, then stretched out by a roll. In addition, in order to increase the suitability for printing and prevent sheet dust, coating is applied for printing purposes. LIMEX can also become an alternative to plastic. It can be used for injection molding, vacuum molding, extrusion molding and inflation molding. Furthermore, it is possible to collect and pulverize LIMEX Sheet scraps and post-consumer LIMEX products.
