What it does
Adept Materials has developed a proprietary two-layer system that provides advanced moisture management for various materials like plywood and polyester. The system features a thinner gate layer that opens with high humidity, allowing water vapor to pass into a thicker sponge layer that absorbs, redistributes, and evaporates the moisture. This technology controls moisture directionally, pumps moisture out during temperature cycles, and stabilizes both humidity and temperature, offering protection against moisture damage and enhancing environmental stability.
