What it does
Mushroom Material has created a breakthrough mycelium-based material, combining strength, thermal and acoustic insulation, and home compostability to replace expanded polystyrene styrofoam (EPS). Its mycelium-based pellets work in standard EPS moulds, swapping plastic for biomaterial without disrupting production.
