Entirety Biomedical
ActiveMedtech company that develops and manufactures novel absorbable metal implants that optimize bone healing and safely restore ortho fixation surgery patients to their natural physiology
What it does
Entirety Biomedical develops and manufactures high performance absorbable metal implants with engineered absorption profiles to optimize bone healing and enable better outcomes for patients that undergo bone fixation surgery. We are developing a portfolio of ortho fixation implants leveraging our proprietary fully absorbable Curasorb metal alloy technology. Curasorb eliminates pain and improves function for patients by restoring the implant site to its natural state before safely absorbing, eliminating the need for implant removal surgery and other long-term complications associated with permanent Titanium implants. Curasorb can change the standard of care for fixation surgery implants by delivering optimal implant absorption with the same strength and cost of Titanium for improved outcomes for patients at lower cost. Through our partnership with Terves Inc., we are developing the next generation of absorbable metal technologies utilizing the only commercial source of custom wrought magnesium alloys in the United States. Together, we are building an ISO 13485 alloy casting and processing facility to manufacture our proprietary bioabsorbable metal alloy portfolio.
