What it does

U-MAP is a pioneering startup originating from Nagoya University, dedicated to the development of industrial materials. In collaboration with Nagoya University, U-MAP has successfully created Thermalnite, a groundbreaking material that enhances thermal conductivity in resin components. This innovation aims to address temperature-related issues in electronic equipment, improving performance, longevity, and safety. Distinguished by its exceptional processability, adhesion, and lightweight properties, Thermalnite stands out from traditional insulating resin materials. U-MAP's remarkable achievements include collaborations with over 170 companies, sales of paid samples to more than 70 companies, and recognition through prestigious awards such as the ILS Award 2018 "Grand Prix" and the CNB Venture Award "Grand Prix". Selected for notable grants and support projects, U-MAP continues to innovate and expand its impact across various industries, including automotive, energy storage, telecommunications, and aerospace.
