What it does

Reinforcing bar binding robot that works with people Tomorobo is a collaborative robot that can automate the bundling work, which is a simple work in steel reinforcement work, by simply setting a commercially available hand-held power tool for the purpose of improving productivity at construction sites and reducing the burden on workers. By simply installing MAX's RB-440T rebar binding machine (two on the left and right), it becomes a robot that can automate the rebar bundling work. It can be installed with one touch using a dedicated adapter. When using two binding machines with a pitch of 200 mm, it binds in 2.7 seconds or less per location. By automating simple tasks, the burden on workers is reduced. Since the binding work is carried out while detecting the intersection of the reinforcing bars, it automatically responds to changes in pitch. Reinforcement pitch corresponds to 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 mm. Target rebar diameter corresponds to φ10, φ13, φ16 * 1. The pitch error is ± 20 mm. In addition, even in various environments such as the height deviation and inclination of the reinforcing bars, the intersection of the reinforcing bars is reliably detected and the binding work is performed.
