What it does
We have developed a virus PCR test system that provides results in "20 minutes". The virus PCR test requires only 3 minutes of pre-treatment (more than 1 hour with standard methods), and is very easy to perform as it does not require complicated operations. Moreover, the RT-PCR reaction takes about 15 minutes with the PCR analyzer we are developing (more than 1 hour with standard equipment). Until now, a lot of specialized technicians and complicated equipment were needed, but with our system, "anyone" and "soon" can perform the virus PCR test with "saliva samples".
