What it does
Our depression diagnosis support program is based on the digitally recorded EEG data obtained by using a 1-channel small electroencephalography (EEG) device called the "Sleepscope" (medical device certification 225ADBZX00020000), which is already a medical device, and processes EEG information that contributes to the diagnosis of depression. Unlike existing electroencephalography systems, which do not require specialized technicians, large-scale equipment, or dedicated laboratories, the 1-channel EEG is easy for physicians to introduce and can be used to collect a large amount of data. The Depression Diagnosis Support Program will provide the number of data needed to develop further improvements and expand the scope of application of the program after its launch, and its accuracy can be improved continuously.
