What it does
"Revolv Space is a pioneering aerospace company focused on revolutionizing satellite operations to achieve true continuity. By reimagining satellite subsystems, Revolv Space aims to address the current performance limitations of satellite buses, allowing payloads to operate for a significantly higher percentage of their time in orbit. Their flagship product, SARA, is a groundbreaking subsystem that enables small satellites to rotate their solar panels towards the Sun, doubling the available power for the satellite. With a dedicated team of six individuals, Revolv Space has redesigned SARA based on user feedback, reaching a technology readiness level of 5. Preparations are underway for a testing campaign to elevate SARA to TRL 7, paving the way for its first mission in space by mid-2024. This innovative approach to satellite subsystems showcases Revolv Space's commitment to advancing the capabilities of satellite manufacturers and maximizing revenue opportunities for their customers."
