ActiveInnovative Electromagnetics
What it does
InEMsens is a spin-off from the University of Zagreb, FER, Croatia. Building on over a decade of academic research in advanced electromagnetic sensing, its mission is to develop deep-tech solutions for civilian and defense sectors. Niche applications include mine/UXO detection (both on land and underwater), non-destructive testing, high-precision precision object tracking, and precision agriculture. The solution is an AI-powered electromagnetic induction (EMI) sensor system for detecting, mapping, and visualizing buried threats like landmines and UXOs. It distinguishes threats from clutter using multi-domain data processing and physics-assisted AI, trained on synthetic data, to enhance safety, cost-effectiveness and situational awareness both in humanitarian demining and defence missions.
