Epistra provides software to accelerate the R&D process using AI. We are developing automatic optimization software that combines evaluation of results by image recognition and experimental design using mathematical optimization. Like a human researcher, by repeating the planning, execution, and evaluation cycle a given goal can be achieved. As a result, the number of trial and error can be significantly reduced. Our technology is particularly strong for solving life science-specific problems. To verify that this system really works, we conducted joint case study with the famous doctor, Masayo Takahashi at Riken to increase the iPS cell differentiation efficiency. We improved efficiency of iPS differentiation significantly (A paper will be published soon).
