What it does
The rapid increase in the elderly has raised concerns in developed countries. Elderly facilities need to watch the safety of the elderly in daily life and perform long-term monitoring for healthcare. We developed a novel privacy-preserving monitoring system “Rabbit vision”, based on an omni-directional thermography with a uniquely designed optics. Currently available video-based monitoring systems have privacy issues. Conventional thermography has a narrow viewing angle and cannot observe the entire room. The “Rabbit vision” system is based on two core technologies; a newly designed omni-directional thermography and accurate action recognition technology with AI. It is the only system that can protect the elderly’s daily safety and provide healthcare with sleep and activity data acquired from “Rabbit vision”.
