A startup from Tohoku University. The company aiming at the practical application of AZUL Catalyst, a highly active non-platinum-based oxygen reduction catalyst electrode material that is indispensable for metal-air batteries and fuel cells. Compared to platinum and manganese catalysts currently used in fuel cells and metal-air batteries, AZUL's catalysts have the same or better performance in terms of performance, cost and safety.
