What it does

Primitive Labs is building the behavioral intelligence layer for AI, modeling human behavior so companies can predict how people will respond to software and agents before they launch. Our proprietary behavioral modeling technology powers agents that simulate real human decision-making, laying the foundation for our ambition to become the behavioral validation layer for every piece of software. Our team comes from Amazon Artificial General Intelligence, Amazon Science, AWS, Google, Harvard, and MIT. We launched generative AI infrastructure and models at Amazon and built multiple products from $0 to $1B+. We also have multiple papers detailing our approach to behavioral simulation submitted to leading AI venues, including NeurIPS 2026 workshops and AAMAS 2026. Primitive Labs is backed by a16z Speedrun, Olive Tree Capital, and leaders from Google DeepMind, OpenAI, Uber, and Amazon.
