ActiveOrbital Lasers for Missile Defense
What it does
PhotonSpear builds laser weapons that destroy ballistic missiles in boost phase. Its adaptive optics keep the beam concentrated and lethal at space-relevant ranges. CEO Wes Foudriat flew F-16s for a decade and led technical analysis of space-based interceptors in the Space Force. CTO Dr. Connor Beierle holds a Stanford PhD in astronautics and is a distinguished graduate of the Air Force Test Pilot School. He has spent more than 14 years at NVIDIA, Google, and Blue Origin, where he led flight test for the Artemis lunar lander.
